Dr. Abdullah Saif Ahmed Al-Sabahy
Dr. Abdullah Al-Sabahy began his career in early 1990 with Oman’s national carrier, Oman Air. Sometime later, he moved to the Office of the Special Advisor for External Liaison, to His Majesty, the Sultan of Oman, and held the position of Director of External Liaison until 2000.
During this period, in the year 1995, he enrolled for the MBA programme at the University of Wolverhampton, and then pursued the PhD program in 1996. His PhD research was based on the Implementation of Total Quality Management in the finance industry in Oman and the UAE.
Lefeer Muhamed Marakkarackayil
Mr. Lefeer Muhamed Marakkarackayil is an alumnus of the University of Wolverhampton. He completed his MBA in the year 1996, with a major inInternational Business. After completing his studies, he began his career in the manufacturing industry and then in the service sector in India.
In the year 2001, Mr. Marakkarackayil, assumed office as the founding Managing Director of the Middle East College and has actively contributed to its development with his strategic leadership. In the year 2007, Mr. Marakkarackayil along with Dr. Sabahy, co-founded the Asian Institute of Gaming & Animation (AIGA), Bangalore, India, which is one of the members of NASSCOM, and an advisory body to the Government of India and Government of Karnataka.
Mr. Marakkarackayil has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship (2012) by the University of Wolverhampton UK, in recognition of his contributions to the field of Higher Education in the Sultanate of Oman.

Dr. Rashid Al Balushi
Dr. Rashid is an entrepreneur, Strategist and Professional Project Manager. He has vast experience both the public and private sector holding various executive positions. Currently, he is a Director of Iskan Oman Investment Company SAOC, a Private Equity Investment Company. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Engineering Innovation Design & Consulting Firm, specializing in Architectural and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision services.
Dr. Rashid has published many articles in the use of Project Management tools and processes in strategy implementation. He has conducted many public and in-house seminars in the areas of project management, strategic planning and Enterprise Project Management.
Dr. Rashid is one of the founding members of the Project Management Institute Arabian Gulf Chapter (PMI-AGC), he served in its Board of Directors for eight years. He established the Oman Chapter.
Dr. Rashid holds Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from USA; Masters of Science in Construction Management from UK; PhD in Project Management from UK. He is also a certified Project Management Professional and a member of the Association of Project Management, MAPM.
Dr. Santhosh John
Dr. Santhosh John is a senior level academic professional with internationally proven track record in Higher Education, Skills development and consultancy. Out of 22 years of extensive experience in carrier, 18 years attached with leading and premium private higher education institutions of India, Malaysia and Sultanate of Oman as faculty in Computing and 4 years in ICT consultancy and training industry.
Dr. John completed his PhD degree in Computer Science from Coventry University, UK. He has outstanding expertise in Transnational Education with UK universities. His active research profile encompasses a pool of publications in highly reputed journals and indexed conferences. He was a grant recipient of Microsoft Malaysia, Knowledge Capital Center in the year 2003 for his academic project of ‘plugging .NET into Academic curriculum’.
In the year 2013, his Innovative teaching practice named “Teaching programming on Smartphone-Activity Based Approach: Pedagogy and Innovation” grabbed recognition from Sultanate of Oman. In 2014, his research paper grabbed the best paper and best orally presented awards in 2nd International Conference in Information and Education Technology (ICIET 2014)Melbourne, Australia.
